Wolfgang Frisch is an Austria-based composer, producer, multi-instrumentalist and founding member of the Viennese sound collective Sofa Surfers.

The Sofa Surfers were awarded the Austrian Amadeus Award for the Best Alternative Album in 2013.

In addition to his work for film and theater, he works with his band and for several side projects.

Wolfgang Frisch was nominated Best Original Music for “Das ewige Leben” and “Cops”  by the Austrian Film Academy as well as for “Animal” by the Hellenic Film Academy.
